The Starting Line Transition program consists of two consumable student workbooks called Foundations and Fast Track. The program is designed for students (and young adults) who are likely to live independently and gain competitive employment.
NOTE: Both workbooks are available in print and in fillable PDF through our license program.
The Starting Line Transition program is designed to introduce students to important Transition concepts and ultimately guides them to identify (and achieve) their own meaningful postsecondary goals.
In each workbook, the student or young adult is guided through a series of assessments, activities, and tasks for (1) employment, (2) education/training, and (3) independent living.

Ideally, students are best served by beginning with the Foundations workbook as an introduction to Transition followed by the Fast Track workbook as a comprehensive program to identify and achieve their goals. These workbooks can be implemented as “stand alone” Transition curriculum or used in a holistic approach covering numerous years for teaching Transition.
For high schools, alternative schools, corrections programs, or 18 – 22 year old programs looking to implement a comprehensive Transition curriculum, the Starting Line Fast Track is a perfect solution.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Each student participating in this program will require their own printed workbook OR fillable PDF license.
