What are Transition Activities?
Transition activities are a collection of hypothetical and real-life experiences, which teach students the necessary skills for a successful transition to adulthood. According to IDEA 2004, a student's courses of study (activities) should be meaningful to the student's future plans and motivate the student to complete his or her education.
Ten Sigma's activities focus on 4 key areas including training, education, employment, and independent living. Our goal is to help teachers in guiding students to learn the skills they will need to function independently and reach their greatest potential!
